If you take a close look at the main image for this post you might be rubbing your eyes trying to figure out exactly what it is you're looking at. But don't fret, your eyes aren't deceiving you. What you see there are four actors portraying twenty different characters in a lovely play by John Cariani that features several vignettes taking place in the fictional small town of Almost, Maine.

Often when we do the cast photo for Whitefish Theatre Co.'s productions they're pretty straightforward, but the cast and director Malcolm Sharbutt came up with the idea of doing a composite so we could feature the full cast of characters, and I immediately said yes.

The set design and lighting were such a delight to photograph for this play that starts with a woman seeking out the Northern Lights which, ironically enough, had an amazing display here in Whitefish just before the play opened.
