Austin Wedding Photographer, Katie & Brandon at Stonehouse Villa

I was extremely happy to be shooting this wedding at the lovely Stonehouse Villa in Driftwood just outside Austin. I had met Katie and Brandon prior to the wedding for coffee and immediately could tell it would be a fun time. Within minutes of arriving at the wedding, myself and my second shooter—also Brandon were pretty much treated as longtime friends just along for the ride.

Austin Bridal/Wedding Photographer, Allison & David at Hotel Ella

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting Alison & David's wedding at Hotel Ella. It was a tremendous evening full of friends, family, laughter, and love. Also, now that the wedding is over, I can finally share the bridal photos Alison took a few months ago also at Hotel Ella. Here's just a tease of more to come. Congratulations Alison and David!

Shout out to the crew at Verve Austin for ensuring everything went off without the slightest of hiccups, my second shooter Brandon, and of course the rest of the vendors, Bouquets of AustinHill Country DJMichelle's PatisserieMoonLiT weddings, and anyone else I may regretfully be forgetting.

Texas Hill Country Wedding Photographer, Sarah & Ryan at Spicewood Vineyards

It isn't often you get the opportunity to document one of the happiest days in the life of a very nearly lifelong friend. I had just that opportunity a few weeks ago in Spicewood, Texas at Spicewood Vineyards. It was a perfect setting, with perfect weather, and perfect people.

Austin Wedding Photographer, Sarah & Cameron at The Allan House

A lovely midsummer wedding surrounded by friends at The Allan House in downtown Austin. Rain threatened early, but it relented without incident for a beautiful ceremony followed by a crazy dance party. Congrats Sarah & Cameron!

Austin Backyard Wedding Photographer, Kristin & Bill

This particular wedding was a really special thing for me. The groom and I go way back, almost two-thirds of my life back in fact. When they approached me to document their intimate, backyard wedding how could I say no?

After the ceremony at their residence, we moved to Olive & June for a cocktail hour and dinner reception with some amazing food. And not even the sudden, torrential, almost apocalyptic rain could dampen the spirits of this couple. Congratulations Kristin and Bill!

Austin Wedding Photographer, Jessica & Josh at Stonehouse Villa

This could very well have been the easiest wedding shoot of all time. I'd had the pleasure of meeting Josh & Jessica while shooting a few other weddings, which meant lots of familiar faces. Combined with an amazing Hill Country evening at Stonehouse Villa food from East Side King and music provided by three bands (all of which Josh is part of), it was truly unforgettable.

Austin Rooftop Wedding Photographer, Crystal & Adrian

I had so much fun shooting this wedding for former co-worker/friend Crystal and her husband Adrian. A church ceremony followed by a rooftop reception on South Congress avenue with just about the nicest late April weather you can possibly imagine. There were semi-choreographed dances, push-up contests, and food from Eastside King. What's not to like?

Austin Wedding Photographer, Grayson & Matt at The Inn at Wild Rose Hall

A few weeks ago I had the honor of documenting the wedding of these two kind folks with my friend Erica. All through the morning and into the afternoon the weather forecast didn't look good. It looked even worse as I drove through a downpour to get there.

Upon my arrival at The Inn at Wild Rose Hall however the rain stopped, the clouds eventually parted, and the sun came out leaving the ceremony to take place amongst the trees instead of indoors and cooling down the late September evening nicely.

Congratulations to Grayson and Matt!

Austin Wedding Photographer, Amy & Gerry’s Reception at Parkside

Amy & Gerry had a simple, intimate wedding reception at a private residence with just family and a few close friends. That, however, does not mean they don't want to have a big party with all of their friends! My dear friend Shauna captured the ceremony, but seeing as how she's also a close friend of Amy and Gerry, she tagged out and I tagged in to cover the reception. As you can see, no one had any fun at all. Nope, not a bit.
