I don't think it is unfair to say that the average high school senior boy isn't all that excited about having their senior portraits taken. And Isaac was certainly no different. So as his mom and I put together a game plan for his senior photos it came out that he's very passionate about mountain biking. I'm also a big proponent that if there is any way to incorporate a student's interests—whether that be sports, music, theatre, etc.—into their portrait session, not only will it just naturally make for great photos, they'll oftentimes be more into it and enjoy it more.

So we had a plan to spend the bulk of the time at the front of our session at the Spencer Mountain biking trails that are part of the Whitefish Trails, and from there we headed to a couple of additional locations around Whitefish that have played a significant role in his life.

I think those strategies paid dividends in the end, but will let the photos speak for themselves.
