I love it when a family visiting from a dramatically warmer climate isn't afraid to try out family portraits in the wintertime while visiting Montana.

It was so fun connecting with the Cobb family last month on what was an absolutely epic pow day here in Whitefish. The weather had warmed up a bit to the mid-20s instead of the single-digits from the days prior which was a nice surprise.

We started at the home where they were staying and then traveled up to Holbrook Overlook just off Big Mountain Road on the way to the resort. Then off to Whitefish Lake behind The Lodge at Whitefish Lake to wrap up—and warm up for the kids.
